We're looking for Food & Beverage Team Members to join us at Shugborough.

Hours: flexible 0-hour role - This role is an hourly paid, wherever possible we aim to offer a consistent working pattern, but we’re looking for flexibility as it may be necessary for us to alter this pattern from time to time to suit the needs of the business. More hours will be worked from Easter to October and during school holidays. Weekend as well as school/bank holiday working is required.

Salary: £9.60 per hour, however this will increase on the 1st April 2023 to fall in line with the new National Living Wage. The salary offered here is for all who apply even if you are of school leaving age.

Duration: Fixed-Term contract for 12 months

What it's like to work here:Reporting to the Food & Beverage Manager, you'll be based at Shugborough Estate, home to the Anson family since 1624. The estate includes a Georgian mansion house with magnificent views over the riverside garden terraces, Grade 1 listed parkland, walled garden and working farm. It also features a café and tea room, second-hand bookshop and two retail outlets. Shugborough is supported by a passionate, engaging and hardworking team of staff and volunteers who love what they do and love sharing it with visitors.

What you'll be doing:With your love of working with people, positive attitude, and desire to provide an excellent service, you’ll welcome and look after every customer who visits our Food and Beverage outlet.

Using your excellent attention to detail, you’ll ensure all signage is displayed correctly and the food served, looks delicious. From time to time you may be required to assist the kitchen team with food prep, but your core focus will be from a front of house perspective.

You'll receive a bespoke induction, allergen/food safety training and the coaching required to fulfil in role. Further professional training & development opportunities are available.
